“Thank You ALL sooo much for the care packages and gifts. I can promise you that all the soldiers will have a very Merry Christmas this year. There have been a lot of soldiers down in the dumps lately, but know they will be lifted because of all of you. We have moved north and west of Camp Habbanyiah to COP Rawah nearer the Syrian border. I want to thank all of you for remembering our Battalion at Christmas. Considering our departure date in early 2009 I would suggest ending your mailings t o us. We have limited facilities at our new country home and zero space to sort our care packages, etc. Thanks to the steadfastness of our President and the skill of our troops we have won the kinetic war. Now it is time to win the peace and we are well on t he road to victory there too.”
